Hello Dear Ones,
So, as we move into the last week of February, how are you doing with your goals? Are you still focused on them?
When we first begin working on goals we can do one of two things. One is focusing on them, the other is to get hyper focused.
Ever tried to zoom in on a picture too much? You get this pixelated view that makes it hard to actually see what you’re really looking at. Staring at these tiny bits, you cannot see anything.
This can also happen—and does so often—with goals.
When you begin feeling overwhelmed and stressed with a goal that you’ve hyper focused on, you abandon the goal.
Why? The goal isn’t the problem, your perspective, your focus level, that’s what is keeping you from reaching the goal. Learning to take a moment, to step back and remember why you are doing this and getting to the core of what this goal really means for you. Now question your decision to quit, and instead question whether you’ve hyper focused and need to change how you approach this goal. With this new perspective, you might just find your goal is more achievable than when you first thought to give up on it.
